After some careless play in the Uetendorf Wanderers defense, Benedetto Louis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Aberle. The Uetendorf Wanderers fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Aberle should have stopped the shot. When Beltrame Graber fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Uetendorf Wanderers's protests and gave Beltrame Graber a yellow card for diving instead. After 7 played minutes Uetendorf Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Beltrame Graber. Stanislav Yakovlev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Rutsch in the 9th minute of play. With his leg David Aberle managed to avoid a goal in the 11thth minute, when Uebeschi Rangers's Benedetto Louis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 16th minute Martin Rutsch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislav Yakovlev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Aberle made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Metin Kayaalp sent off a good shot on target. Ole Grotto made a great header on Uebeschi Rangers's corner, it was just that Uetendorf Wanderers's David Aberle managed to reach the ball for a save. David Aberle came out of the goal and Metin Kayaalp tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stanislav Yakovlev showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özcan Balcik in the 32nd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Metin Kayaalp got free with David Aberle in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34th minute Glenn Huez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislav Yakovlev saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanislav Yakovlev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glenn Huez in the 34th minute of play. Uebeschi Rangers's Stanislav Yakovlev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Glenn Huez in the 40th minute of play. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After a defensive mix-up in Uebeschi Rangers's zone, Martin Rutsch stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanislav Yakovlev came out of the goal and Martin Rutsch tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute of the match, Martin Rutsch got a very nice opportunity to score, but Stanislav Yakovlev was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Thanks to some nice moves Martin Rutsch could shoot a difficult shot in the 59th minute, which Stanislav Yakovlev however easily saved by the left post. 64 minutes into the game, Uebeschi Rangers's Metin Kayaalp nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. David Aberle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. With a little luck, Uebeschi Rangers's Stanislav Yakovlev got control of the ball when Martin Rutsch tried to sneak it across the goal line. David Aberle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Metin Kayaalp in the 74th minute of play. Martin Rutsch really showed his touch with that goal: 4-1. Uebeschi Rangers's Dan Piț was substituted for Benedetto Louis. Uebeschi Rangers made a substitution. Marino Rüdy replaced Florian Lagnaz. After having played for 86 minutes, Hassan Schürch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Uebeschi Rangers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hassan Schürch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Uetendorf Wanderers getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Sam Amiel hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Ole Grotto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Uebeschi Rangers's supporters rose to their feet, but Ole Grotto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Aberle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Uebeschi Rangers had won after a very even match.
