Willem Rinert was slow to take the kick. During this time Ämmer Sportfreaks's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Ämmer Sportfreaks's corner Patricius Lafranchi fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Gregor Kobel quite easily take care of the ball. After 16 played minutes Ämmer Sportfreaks got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Ignatius. Willem Rinert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Gregor Kobel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricius Lafranchi in the 23rd minute of play forced Espen Steelers's goalkeeper Gregor Kobel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silverio Godoy kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Gutierre Lauri took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Gregor Kobel to make any attempt to save it. In the 30th minute Patricius Lafranchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Kobel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fergus Maina showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alain Berset, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Gregor Kobel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Willem Rinert's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by Espen Steelers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Willem Rinert was slow to take the kick. During this time Ämmer Sportfreaks's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Ämmer Sportfreaks's Dan Gerber to fire away a dangerous shot which Gregor Kobel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 39thth minute of the game Alain Berset who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ämmer Sportfreaks's Fergus Maina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gregor Kobel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silverio Godoy in the 45th minute of the match. Alain Berset charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alain Berset the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Espen Steelers's Alain Berset got a free kick in the 46th minute. Espen Steelers's Rogelio Montez was substituted for Alain Berset. In the 49th minute, Torben Krabber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Rogelio Montez made the kick off in the second half. In the 94th minute, Ämmer Sportfreaks's Olivier Bigler seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Olivier Bigler the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ämmer Sportfreaks protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Olivier Bigler had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 94 minutes into the game, one of Ämmer Sportfreaks:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The Ämmer Sportfreaks supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Espen Steelers's performance. The match ended with a win for Espen Steelers.
