After 4 minutes Liver Bird's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Willem Rinert who took care of the corner kick. In the 7th minute of the match, Nathaniel Howald got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fergus Maina was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 13 played minutes Liver Bird got a freekick which was hit by Clinton Werfel. In the 15th minute of the match Ämmer Sportfreaks got a corner. Liver Bird's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Willem Rinert ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ämmer Sportfreaks's corner Willem Rinert fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stig Verlengia quite easily take care of the ball. In the 16th minute of the match, Timoteo Kuhn got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fergus Maina was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fergus Maina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pat Eggers in the 30th minute of the match. After 34 minutes Liver Bird's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Willem Rinert who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Ämmer Sportfreaks's corner Willem Rinert fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Stig Verlengia quite easily take care of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Liver Bird's zone, Gutierre Lauri stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stig Verlengia came out of the goal and Gutierre Lauri tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gutierre Lauri in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stig Verlengia saved Liver Bird from getting behind. Patricius Lafranchi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pat Eggers made a kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Pat Eggers who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ämmer Sportfreaks's Fergus Maina was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Stig Verlengia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gutierre Lauri in the 54th minute of play. Fergus Maina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clinton Werfel in the 56th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gutierre Lauri in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stig Verlengia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 59th minute, Pat Eggers got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 61st minute of the match Liver Bird got a corner. Ämmer Sportfreaks's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Nathaniel Howald ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fergus Maina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Kuhn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Pat Eggers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fergus Maina was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Silvain Zimmermann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liver Bird made a substitution. Raffaele Mutach replaced Alfred Parolini. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dan Gerber in the 75th minute of play forced Liver Bird's goalkeeper Stig Verlengia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Liver Bird's Dimitris Rapsopodis was substituted for Pat Eggers. In the 86th minute, Dimitris Rapsopodis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Liver Bird's Stig Verlengia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gutierre Lauri in the 87th minute of play. After 87 minutes of play, Ämmer Sportfreaks's Gutierre Lauri made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Stig Verlengia was left in no man's land by his defense there! 92 minutes into the game, Liver Bird's Jonathan Lamontagne nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fergus Maina made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The Ämmer Sportfreaks players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
