In the 10th minute of the match Zelg FC got a corner. FC Wil 1900's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Albain Furst ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilles Clerc in the 12th minute of play forced FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th match minute, FC Wil 1900 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo Rosa to maneuver through the defense. If Jonas Herz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sepp Mainville stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tory Pryor's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. 18 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Herz came free, but Lionel Paly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lionel Paly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilles Clerc in the 22nd minute of the match. FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonas Herz in the 26th minute of play. Lionel Paly made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilles Clerc in the 27th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Tory Pryor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sepp Mainville was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. In the 34th match minute, Zelg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frankl Nadel to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emery Heller in the 36th minute of play forced Zelg FC's goalkeeper Sepp Mainville to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lionel Paly showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilles Clerc in the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Zelg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emery Heller came free, but Sepp Mainville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

After 58 played minutes Zelg FC got a freekick which was hit by Frankl Nadel. 61 minutes into the match, Tory Pryor notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Zelg FC's Sepp Mainville. Sepp Mainville was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Zelg FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Serge Tomasini hit a great ball. Sepp Mainville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tory Pryor in the 65th minute of play. Sepp Mainville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emery Heller, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When Zelg FC's Jonas Herz in the 69th minute got a chance for a shot 69th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Wil 1900's goalie prevented a goal. Curtiz Klein made in the 70th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ivan Dové immediately put the ball in play. Jonas Herz might have been able to make a better finish in the 76th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lionel Paly. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jonas Herz ran back to his position shaking his head. 76 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Herz came free, but Lionel Paly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Téo Rosa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sepp Mainville was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. In the 78th minute of the match, Jonas Herz got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lionel Paly was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Tory Pryor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gilles Clerc's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Lionel Paly skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 84thth minute of the game Tory Pryor who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zelg FC's Sepp Mainville was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ivan Bieber hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Sepp Mainville came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Wil 1900's Emery Heller. But to his dismay, Emery Heller quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Zelg FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
