An unexpectedly hard shot by Tory Pryor in the 24th minute of play forced Uebeschi Rangers's goalkeeper Stanislav Yakovlev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Uebeschi Rangers fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Uebeschi Rangers's Metin Kayaalp looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Tory Pryor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Stanislav Yakovlev was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. 33 minutes into the game, Pirmin Jäggi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Lionel Paly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Metin Kayaalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Uebeschi Rangers were awarded a corner in the 58th minute after FC Wil 1900's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Metin Kayaalp took the corner. 61 minutes into the match, Uebeschi Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Tory Pryor came free, but Stanislav Yakovlev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Stanislav Yakovlev came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Wil 1900's Pirmin Jäggi. But to his dismay, Pirmin Jäggi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Generoso Duarte's late challenge caught a FC Wil 1900's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Generoso Duarte helped the player get up and apologised. In the 96th minute, Generoso Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Téo Rosa from long distance, 97 minutes into the match, got Stanislav Yakovlev's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
