Spectators: 10216 (Terracing: 7550, Seating: 2450, VIP seats: 216) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lorenzo Hagenbuch kicked off to start the match. Aziz Mrabet kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Brütten's Earnest Höltschi got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brütten's goalkeeper Yan Fossati, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Hieronymus Gilardi successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Hieronymus Gilardi made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Augustin Heinzmann sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice moves Alberto Hofstetter could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Hieronymus Gilardi however easily saved by the left post. In the 18th minute, Lorenzo Hagenbuch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Edward Zbytniewski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brütten's supporters rose to their feet, but Edward Zbytniewski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hieronymus Gilardi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Hofstetter got free with Hieronymus Gilardi in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Hofstetter kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Brütten's Yan Fossati played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Hagenbuch in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Hagenbuch in the 28th minute of play forced Brütten's goalkeeper Yan Fossati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 29 minutes Brütten's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Lorenzo Hagenbuch who took care of the corner kick. Lorenzo Hagenbuch recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Augustin Heinzmann hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. In the 45th match minute, Brütten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexander Bettinelli to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Zbytniewski was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Earnest Höltschi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brütten's supporters rose to their feet, but Earnest Höltschi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hieronymus Gilardi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 56th minute of the match, Lorenzo Hagenbuch tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Yan Fossati saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 60 minutes into the match, Brütten's goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Hagenbuch came free, but Yan Fossati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the match, FC Thierachern's goal looked a bit too open when Clint Paly came free, but Hieronymus Gilardi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hieronymus Gilardi came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Brütten's Clint Paly. But to his dismay, Clint Paly quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Hieronymus Gilardi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clint Paly, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pavel Ghițescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Thierachern's Pancho Jeanneret was substituted for Gabriel Peter. After some careless play in the Brütten defense, Pavel Ghițescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yan Fossati. The Brütten fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yan Fossati should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pancho Jeanneret in the 84th minute of play forced Brütten's goalkeeper Yan Fossati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute Edward Zbytniewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hieronymus Gilardi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lorenzo Hagenbuch struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Yan Fossati didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Thierachern. Brütten were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Thierachern for a fine match.
