Amado Makaus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Fergus Maina tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricius Lafranchi in the 23rd minute of play forced FC Thierachern's goalkeeper Hieronymus Gilardi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. FC Thierachern's Hieronymus Gilardi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silverio Godoy in the 26th minute of play. Fergus Maina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pavel Ghițescu in the 27th minute of the match. After 27 minutes of play, FC Thierachern's Pavel Ghițescu made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fergus Maina was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, FC Thierachern's Pavel Ghițescu got a free kick in the 39th minute. In the 41stth minute of the game Silverio Godoy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Thierachern's Hieronymus Gilardi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 43rd minute of the match, Gutierre Lauri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Hieronymus Gilardi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Patricius Lafranchi was extremely unlucky when he, in the 44th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. After 47 played minutes Ämmer Sportfreaks got a freekick which was hit by Dan Gerber. Pancho Jeanneret hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match.

Lorenzo Hagenbuch's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fergus Maina read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. It was a well-played corner which Rey Hirter managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Hieronymus Gilardi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silverio Godoy in the 88th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Lorenzo Hagenbuch kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fergus Maina. That made the score 1-2 in the 94 minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Pavel Ghițescu could shoot a difficult shot in the 97th minute, which Fergus Maina however easily saved by the left post. When the final whistle went the supporters of FC Thierachern were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Ämmer Sportfreaks side.
