The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Ämmer Sportfreaks's Fergus Maina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clint Paly in the 51st minute of play. Clark Högger hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Dan Gerber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Yan Fossati made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patricius Lafranchi in the 64th minute of play forced Brütten's goalkeeper Yan Fossati to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 66 minutes, Yan Fossati successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 70 minutes into the match, Brütten's goal looked a bit too open when Gutierre Lauri came free, but Yan Fossati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Brütten's Yan Fossati got control of the ball when Gutierre Lauri tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Gutierre Lauri came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Ämmer Sportfreaks fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gutierre Lauri couldn't finish the play. Fergus Maina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Earnest Höltschi in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Edward Zbytniewski notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ämmer Sportfreaks's Fergus Maina. Fergus Maina was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
