Alexander Bettinelli could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Lionel Paly made a huge save. Lionel Paly made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Clint Paly sent off a good shot on target. In the 23rd minute Emery Heller shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Fossati saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yan Fossati showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Rosa in the 29th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Zbytniewski in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lionel Paly prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Brütten's Clark Högger got a free kick in the 37th minute. 41 minutes into the match, Brütten's goal looked a bit too open when Pirmin Jäggi came free, but Yan Fossati reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Clint Paly's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 43rdth minute, Lionel Paly skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Clint Paly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lionel Paly was a little too slow when Clint Paly got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 48th minute. The score was now 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tory Pryor stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Alberto Hofstetter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th match minute, Brütten was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edward Zbytniewski to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clint Paly in the 63rd minute of play forced FC Wil 1900's goalkeeper Lionel Paly to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Brütten's Yan Fossati got control of the ball when Pirmin Jäggi tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Téo Rosa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 73rdth minute of the game Clint Paly who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Clint Paly in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lionel Paly saved FC Wil 1900 from getting behind. After 77 played minutes FC Wil 1900 got a freekick which was hit by Georges Gladu. In the 81st match minute, FC Wil 1900 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emery Heller to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Zbytniewski came free, but Lionel Paly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
