Spectators: 10790 (Terracing: 8148, Seating: 2497, VIP seats: 145) Pastor Dominix started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Chancy Olympique's Carlo Wollstadt managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Torben Krabber in the 7 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alain Berset in the 11th minute of play forced Chancy Olympique's goalkeeper Alex Méret to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Chancy Olympique's Pastor Dominix got a free kick in the 13th minute. After some careless play in the Chancy Olympique defense, Paul Klee kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alex Méret. The Chancy Olympique fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alex Méret should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pastor Dominix in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gregor Kobel saved Espen Steelers from getting behind. In the 26th minute Nino Schurter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Méret saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Espen Steelers's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Teofil Soszka was slow to take the kick. During this time Chancy Olympique's players had a chance to rest. After 39 minutes Espen Steelers's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Teofil Soszka who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Teofil Soszka got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gregor Kobel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Lou Deans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pastor Dominix came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the Chancy Olympique fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Dominix couldn't finish the play. After the first half Espen Steelers were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nino Schurter to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Chancy Olympique's Pastor Dominix sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gregor Kobel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Espen Steelers's zone, Lou Deans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gregor Kobel came out of the goal and Lou Deans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Chancy Olympique getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Pastor Dominix hit a great ball. With a little luck, Chancy Olympique's Alex Méret got control of the ball when Alain Berset tried to sneak it across the goal line. Williams Imholz made a great header on Espen Steelers's corner, it was just that Chancy Olympique's Alex Méret managed to reach the ball for a save. A collision led to Chancy Olympique getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Lou Deans hit a great ball. Gregor Kobel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pastor Dominix, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Espen Steelers's Roman Beljean was substituted for Alberto Giacometti. Espen Steelers made a substitution. Rogelio Montez replaced Alain Berset. Chancy Olympique's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teofil Soszka in the 71st minute. Chancy Olympique's Teofil Soszka was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gregor Kobel in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Alex Méret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nino Schurter, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Gregor Kobel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Dominix in the 77th minute of the match. Gregor Kobel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pastor Dominix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Méret showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rogelio Montez, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. After 86 played minutes Chancy Olympique got a freekick which was hit by Lou Deans. The audience cheered when Williams Imholz's long shot passed Alex Méret's right side. It was 0-2, 87 minutes into the match. After 90 minutes of play Chancy Olympique's Lou Deans was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Chancy Olympique's Lou Deans got a free kick in the 91st minute. Pastor Dominix kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Rogelio Montez did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Alex Méret 95 minutes into the match. Espen Steelers played a much better game than Chancy Olympique and deserved their victory. The Chancy Olympique players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
