The FC Wil 1900 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 18th minute, Zachary Pionek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lionel Paly was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Lionel Paly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Özcan Balcik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Uetendorf Wanderers's Özcan Balcik in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 35 played minutes Uetendorf Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Glenn Huez. With an all-out effort, FC Wil 1900's David Aberle threw himself towards the right post 37 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Téo Rosa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. David Aberle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Rosa in the 41st minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Uetendorf Wanderers's goal looked a bit too open when Téo Rosa came free, but David Aberle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 43 played minutes Uetendorf Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by Giray Yeten. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Özcan Balcik made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Martin Rutsch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Paly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Özcan Balcik in the 61st minute of play. Bernhard Zollinger kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 70 minutes into the match, FC Wil 1900's goal looked a bit too open when Zachary Pionek came free, but Lionel Paly reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner ended in Glenn Huez almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly did a great save. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
