The tension between the KFC Latem and the K.sk Ronse players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes KFC Latem got a freekick which was hit by Bertrand Justus. In the 14th minute Elias Herremans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Nelleboedske saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Phillipe Henrix made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Jakob Bouman sent off a good shot on target. Brent Van der Perren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Phillipe Henrix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Danny Nelleboedske made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik-Jan Verhasselt in the 30th minute of play. Jakob Bouman kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 32ndth minute. Though ot was a great shot KFC Latem's keeper Phillipe Henrix was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Danny Nelleboedske made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik-Jan Verhasselt in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, K.sk Ronse's goal looked a bit too open when Erik-Jan Verhasselt came free, but Danny Nelleboedske reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danny Nelleboedske made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elias Herremans in the 40th minute of play. Brent Van der Perren blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Phillipe Henrix having to make a save. With a little luck, KFC Latem's Phillipe Henrix got control of the ball when Jakob Bouman tried to sneak it across the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elias Herremans was the one to do the kick off. After 53 minutes, Jakob Bouman made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. KFC Latem's Phillipe Henrix tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match clock showed 62 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Jakob Bouman sped through KFC Latem's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Phillipe Henrix. Phillipe Henrix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brent Van der Perren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Brent Van der Perren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the match, Jakob Bouman notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of KFC Latem's Phillipe Henrix. Phillipe Henrix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Bouman in the 75th minute of play forced KFC Latem's goalkeeper Phillipe Henrix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Phillipe Henrix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Bouman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When K.sk Ronse's Brent Van der Perren in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Latem's goalie prevented a goal.
