Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Christofere Koninkx took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 8th minute, KFC Golden Storm's Peter De Munck ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Yanick Lombaert. Yanick Lombaert yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Christofere Koninkx might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Yanick Lombaert. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Christofere Koninkx ran back to his position shaking his head. Bram Cuppens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Yanick Lombaert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christofere Koninkx's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yanick Lombaert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 21st minute, Christofere Koninkx fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brent Eli in the 23rd minute of play forced KFC Golden Storm's goalkeeper Jarno De Hertoghe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Rotselaar's zone, Christofere Koninkx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yanick Lombaert came out of the goal and Christofere Koninkx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 26th match minute, KFC Golden Storm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romain Van Castel to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute, Rens Van Emelen reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Yanick Lombaert. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 36th minute, Rens Van Emelen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Christofere Koninkx did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-0 to the left of a surprised Yanick Lombaert 38 minutes into the match. Jarno De Hertoghe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joey Oelemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Christofere Koninkx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Willem-Jan Leroy made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Peter De Munck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanick Lombaert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Evert-Jan Van Clijnebreugel kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After having played for 56 minutes, Christofere Koninkx managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KFC Golden Storm's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christofere Koninkx was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rotselaar's zone, Christofere Koninkx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yanick Lombaert came out of the goal and Christofere Koninkx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Peter De Munck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Christofere Koninkx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Xander Van Elsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Christofere Koninkx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yanick Lombaert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KFC Golden Storm's Peter De Munck got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Christofere Koninkx in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yanick Lombaert prevented the ball from getting in the gole. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. KFC Golden Storm fully deserved thier win.
