In the 81st minute, AFC Libin's Gerrit Du Molin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dominic Ackermans. Dominic Ackermans yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Michiel Hagemans kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Cedrik Van Looy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gert Rogiers, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gerrit Du Molin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dominic Ackermans having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Meersel had won after a very even match.
