Arthur Van den Driesch spun around in front of the goal 9 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Welle's goal. Tobias Algoedt got in the 11th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Cedric Van Leemputte handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Cedric Van Leemputte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik-Jan Reijnders, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Niewerkerken's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Algoedt came free, but Cedric Van Leemputte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Algoedt took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cedric Van Leemputte. Cedric Van Leemputte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Artur D'haene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tobias Algoedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 26thth minute of the game Erik-Jan Reijnders who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Niewerkerken's Cedric Van Leemputte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Erik-Jan Reijnders scored 0-3 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cedric Van Leemputte, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Erik-Jan Reijnders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedric Van Leemputte having to interfere. Cedric Van Leemputte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik-Jan Reijnders in the 37th minute of play. Fre De Munck made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Artur D'haene sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik-Jan Reijnders in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cedric Van Leemputte saved Niewerkerken from getting behind. After the first half Welle were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arthur Van den Driesch to strike the kick off in the second half. Artur D'haene fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fre De Munck having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, Welle's Tobias Algoedt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cedric Van Leemputte narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Arthur Van den Driesch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik-Jan Reijnders came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Cedric Van Leemputte could save by the left post. When Welle's Tobias Algoedt in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Niewerkerken's goalie prevented a goal. Cedric Van Leemputte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tobias Algoedt in the 74th minute of the match. In the 76th match minute, Niewerkerken was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olivier Teunis to maneuver through the defense. Niewerkerken's Cedric Van Leemputte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Algoedt in the 76th minute of play. Fre De Munck took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur D'haene, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tobias Algoedt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 88 minutes, Tobias Algoedt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Welle's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tobias Algoedt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Niewerkerken getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Yannik Eli hit a great ball. Erik-Jan Reijnders fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cedric Van Leemputte having to interfere. In the 95thth minute of the game Tobias Algoedt who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Niewerkerken's Cedric Van Leemputte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Olivier Teunis kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Welle's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
