Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tobias Algoedt made the kick off which started today's match. If Arthur Van den Driesch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute, Welle's Tobias Algoedt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Cedric Van Leemputte. Cedric Van Leemputte yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 10th minute, Lex Anthonis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the game, one of Niewerkerken:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Lionel Van Poucke shot the penalty kick right outside the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tobias Algoedt in the 22nd minute of play forced Niewerkerken's goalkeeper Cedric Van Leemputte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The nice shot from Erik-Jan Reijnders in the 23rdth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Cedric Van Leemputte had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Cedric Van Leemputte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenny Hollants in the 26th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Niewerkerken's Yannik Eli got a free kick in the 30th minute. If Tobias Algoedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 32 played minutes Welle got a freekick which was hit by Wes Capellemans. 43 minutes into the match, Niewerkerken's goal looked a bit too open when Erik-Jan Reijnders came free, but Cedric Van Leemputte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tobias Algoedt in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cedric Van Leemputte saved Niewerkerken from getting behind. With a little luck, Niewerkerken's Cedric Van Leemputte got control of the ball when Erik-Jan Reijnders tried to sneak it across the goal line.

Fre De Munck made an important save on a dangerous shot by Artur D'haene in the 57th minute. In the 59th minute, Arthur Van den Driesch made a precise shot to the right of Fre De Munck. Welle's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. When Welle's Tobias Algoedt in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Niewerkerken's goalie prevented a goal. Erik-Jan Reijnders sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Arthur Van den Driesch got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Welle's goalkeeper Fre De Munck had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur D'haene. If Artur D'haene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erik-Jan Reijnders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Cedric Van Leemputte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cedric Van Leemputte stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Erik-Jan Reijnders's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Cedric Van Leemputte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Algoedt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cedric Van Leemputte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik-Jan Reijnders in the 88th minute of play. A collision led to Niewerkerken getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Olivier Teunis hit a great ball. After 94 played minutes Niewerkerken got a freekick which was hit by Arthur Van den Driesch. After 96 minutes of play, Welle's Erik-Jan Reijnders made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cedric Van Leemputte was left in no man's land by his defense there! There was no doubt that Welle were the better team. Welle's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
