Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Schelderode's Vicente Van Aertvinck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arend Moors in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Sabbe in the 11th minute of play forced Schelderode's goalkeeper Vicente Van Aertvinck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrew Kloots sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Jerom Schockaert came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Schelderode fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jerom Schockaert couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renaut Stoorms in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florian Leyman saved SC Pont- from getting behind. After 19th play minutes Andrew Kloots shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Florian Leyman and just under the crossbar into goal. Florian Leyman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Renaut Stoorms's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Renaut Stoorms kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izak Adriaensens in the 27th minute of play forced Schelderode's goalkeeper Vicente Van Aertvinck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Van Aertvinck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthew Sabbe, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Izak Adriaensens scored 2-1 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vicente Van Aertvinck, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Renaut Stoorms who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Florian Leyman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Izak Adriaensens kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Schelderode's Renaut Stoorms tried to score from far away in the 41st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Vicente Van Aertvinck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthew Sabbe in the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Renaut Stoorms stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Renaut Stoorms in the 52nd minute of play forced SC Pont-'s goalkeeper Florian Leyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florian Leyman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renaut Stoorms in the 53rd minute of the match. When Andrew Kloots came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Schelderode fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andrew Kloots couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sebastien Andries during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A hard shot by Alan Tubbackx from long distance, 70 minutes into the match, got Vicente Van Aertvinck's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrew Kloots in the 71st minute of play forced SC Pont-'s goalkeeper Florian Leyman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the SC Pont- defense, Andrew Kloots kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florian Leyman. The SC Pont- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florian Leyman should have stopped the shot. Florian Leyman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Renaut Stoorms in the 80th minute of play. In the 82nd minute, Renaut Stoorms got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, SC Pont-'s goal looked a bit too open when Renaut Stoorms came free, but Florian Leyman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Andrew Kloots got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Renaut Stoorms fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florian Leyman having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Schelderode players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
