Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, KVSK Bouillon's Gerard Puttemas got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After taking down the ball on Essen's corner Ronny Verlinden fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Roben Dauwe quite easily take care of the ball. After 6 played minutes KVSK Bouillon got a freekick which was hit by Joery Helssen. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind KVSK Bouillon's goalkeeper Roben Dauwe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, KVSK Bouillon's goal looked a bit too open when Edwin Van Poucke came free, but Roben Dauwe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Jose Roels managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KVSK Bouillon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jose Roels was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mathieux Lefevre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Willy Tubbackx having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, KVSK Bouillon's goal looked a bit too open when Thobias De Cerpel came free, but Roben Dauwe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Thobias De Cerpel had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roben Dauwe. KVSK Bouillon's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thobias De Cerpel was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Roben Dauwe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thobias De Cerpel in the 32nd minute of play. Edwin Van Poucke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Roben Dauwe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Thobias De Cerpel came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Essen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Thobias De Cerpel couldn't finish the play. Roben Dauwe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thobias De Cerpel, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. After the first half Essen were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

53 minutes into the game, Thobias De Cerpel recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Roben Dauwe. Thobias De Cerpel showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Thobias De Cerpel in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Roben Dauwe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roben Dauwe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thobias De Cerpel in the 65th minute of the match. Essen's Pieterjan Figaro suffered a sore thigh after 68 minutes and couldn't finish the game. A collision led to KVSK Bouillon getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Brain Rijniers hit a great ball. Ronny Verlinden was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 70th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Jose Roels kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, KVSK Bouillon's Mathieux Lefevre nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Willy Tubbackx made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Roben Dauwe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edwin Van Poucke in the 82nd minute. In the 85th minute, Edwin Van Poucke made a precise shot to the right of Roben Dauwe. KVSK Bouillon's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. In the 90th minute Mathieux Lefevre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willy Tubbackx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mathieux Lefevre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Willy Tubbackx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The KVSK Bouillon supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Essen's performance. The match ended with a win for Essen.
