In the 11th minute, Fredrik Van Hoyveldt left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Racing Waregem© fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 16 played minutes, Sint-Laureins's Fransesco Meersman shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Robbin Demeulemeester came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sint-Laureins reached it. Fredrik Van Hoyveldt struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Danny Renotte didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Racing Waregem©. In the 20th minute, Leon Biermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robbin Demeulemeester showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeff Vranckx in the 22nd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Mickael Dewolf rounded Sint-Laureins's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-0. If Mattijs Janssen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 28 played minutes Sint-Laureins got a freekick which was hit by Boudewijn Schoutens. 35 minutes into the match, Sint-Laureins's goal looked a bit too open when Mattijs Janssen came free, but Danny Renotte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38thth minute of the game Mattijs Janssen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sint-Laureins's Danny Renotte was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Mickael Dewolf had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Racing Waregem© booed when Sint-Laureins was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maarten Kempenaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Fredrik Van Hoyveldt came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Racing Waregem© fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fredrik Van Hoyveldt couldn't finish the play. Mattijs Janssen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Danny Renotte having to make a save.

Racing Waregem© made a substitution. Harold Vanhove replaced Richey Van der Borght. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mattijs Janssen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Mickael Dewolf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danny Renotte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sint-Laureins's Bobby Langendonckx got a free kick in the 54th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Mattijs Janssen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Waregem©'s supporters rose to their feet, but Mattijs Janssen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Danny Renotte breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Danny Renotte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mattijs Janssen in the 57th minute of play. 59 minutes into the match, Remco Huveneers had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Robbin Demeulemeester. Racing Waregem©'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Remco Huveneers was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mickael Dewolf in the 64th minute of play forced Sint-Laureins's goalkeeper Danny Renotte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mattijs Janssen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 70 minutes, Mattijs Janssen made it 5-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sint-Laureins's Danny Renotte tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Piet Ooms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute, Sylven Theunis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Mattijs Janssen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Danny Renotte was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. When the referee ended the match the Racing Waregem© players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
