The audience was convinced that Elias Cilio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joonas Vooremäe was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Joonas Vooremäe stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elias Cilio's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Boris Van Gestel's late challenge caught a Nostra AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boris Van Gestel helped the player get up and apologised. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Manchester United! Joonas Vooremäe went to the wrong direction when Timy De Clerk was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Pierre-Olivier Deville made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jason Hylen in the 22nd minute of play. Kasper Lanen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Olivier Deville having to interfere. In the 26th minute, Sjef Schalken ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joonas Vooremäe was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 30 played minutes Kasper Lanen rounded Nostra AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. An unexpected shot in the 45th minute by Kasper Lanen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jason Hylen was the one to do the kick off. Ludwig Vandewalle kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Bernd Meersman took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Joonas Vooremäe to make any attempt to save it. Elias Cilio might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joonas Vooremäe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elias Cilio ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 73rd minute, Kasper Lanen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pierre-Olivier Deville was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Sjef Schalken recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elias Cilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Nostra AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Manchester United from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
