Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Veldeken's Reine Winström started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 minutes, Yu Jing Qiang mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Veldeken and the KVSK Mechelen players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Veldeken's Yu Jing Qiang got a free kick in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yu Jing Qiang in the 7th minute of play forced KVSK Mechelen's goalkeeper Roderik Kindts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 13th minute of the game was made by Casper Andries with Morgan Fransson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Lex De Hooge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jarl Cetin came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by KVSK Mechelen's Teo Du Bois. But to his dismay, Teo Du Bois quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 18th match minute, KVSK Mechelen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ward De Jonghe to maneuver through the defense. Robbrecht Van den Paenhuysen kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. KVSK Mechelen's Roderik Kindts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reine Winström in the 34th minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, Ward De Jonghe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jarl Cetin. Veldeken's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ward De Jonghe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Reine Winström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Roderik Kindts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jon Figaro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Morgan Fransson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roderik Kindts was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Jon Figaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jarl Cetin having to interfere. With a little luck, KVSK Mechelen's Roderik Kindts got control of the ball when Morgan Fransson tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Ward De Jonghe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teo Du Bois recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, KVSK Mechelen's Jerano Almaguer got a free kick in the 68th minute. Jarl Cetin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teo Du Bois in the 71st minute of play. KVSK Mechelen's Roderik Kindts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lex De Hooge in the 72nd minute of play. Veldeken's Jarl Cetin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jairo Oliveira in the 74th minute of play. KVSK Mechelen's Roderik Kindts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save KVSK Mechelen from getting a goal against them. Jon Figaro struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Jarl Cetin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KVSK Mechelen. After 81 minutes of play, Veldeken's Reine Winström made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roderik Kindts was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Teo Du Bois had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 88 minutes, Ward De Jonghe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KVSK Mechelen and the Veldeken players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Veldeken booed when KVSK Mechelen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ward De Jonghe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jon Figaro scored 3-3 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jarl Cetin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Veldeken's Jarl Cetin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jon Figaro in the 93rd minute of play. Ward De Jonghe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jarl Cetin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play.
