The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arend Van Aertvinck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Goffrey Van Severen, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goffrey Van Severen in the 36th minute of play forced R.B.Z.'s goalkeeper Arend Van Aertvinck to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Manuel Jaspers notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of KFC Achterheide's Joachim Humbelets. Joachim Humbelets was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind R.B.Z.'s goalkeeper Arend Van Aertvinck, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 57 minutes into the match, KFC Achterheide's goal looked a bit too open when Ward De Cat came free, but Joachim Humbelets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joachim Humbelets showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Jaspers, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Albert De Ceuster shot from long distance in the 60th minute, but Arend Van Aertvinck was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Ward De Cat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joachim Humbelets having to interfere. In the 66th minute Goffrey Van Severen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arend Van Aertvinck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 played minutes R.B.Z. got a freekick which was hit by Lennert Raeimakers. Through an outstanding action, after 69 minutes, Arend Van Aertvinck successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When Ward De Cat came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the R.B.Z. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ward De Cat couldn't finish the play. 76 minutes into the match, KFC Achterheide's goal looked a bit too open when Ward De Cat came free, but Joachim Humbelets reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Ward De Cat cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Joachim Humbelets was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Hendrik-Jan Elssen charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hendrik-Jan Elssen the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Manuel Jaspers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joachim Humbelets having to interfere. After 90 played minutes R.B.Z. got a freekick which was hit by Lennert Raeimakers. If Ward De Cat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute.
