Spectators: 6689 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1689, VIP seats: 0) Wart Ketelers came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Kermt's Frank Dumont. But to his dismay, Frank Dumont quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Jeremy Van Beringen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the game, Club Kermt's Patrik Van Caenegem nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wart Ketelers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. FC Zonhoven's Wim Maertens suffered a concussion in the 18th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aaron Caes during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. FC Zonhoven's Steven Van der Voert was substituted for Wim Maertens. After 20 played minutes Club Kermt got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Caes. Benne Teurfs blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aaron Stuckens having to make a save. The long shot by Brent van Eijnde in the 24th minute really tested Aaron Stuckens's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Abel Van Den Broek struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Aaron Stuckens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Zonhoven. After 31 played minutes, FC Zonhoven's Brent van Eijnde shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Aaron Stuckens came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Zonhoven reached it. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Benne Teurfs took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Aaron Stuckens to make any attempt to save it. Wart Ketelers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeremy Van Beringen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute Jeremy Van Beringen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wart Ketelers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin De Boel in the 37th minute of play forced FC Zonhoven's goalkeeper Wart Ketelers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Benne Teurfs sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Benne Teurfs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Club Kermt's Martin De Boel got a free kick in the 48th minute. Benne Teurfs's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 49thth minute, Aaron Stuckens skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benne Teurfs to strike the kick off in the second half. FC Zonhoven's attentive Carel Van der Weijden managed to snatch the ball when Rafael Baecke made a throw-in in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 55th minute Abel Van Den Broek shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Stuckens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carel Van der Weijden struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Aaron Stuckens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Zonhoven. Benne Teurfs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Aaron Stuckens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Carel Van der Weijden managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Zonhoven's supporters rose to their feet, but Carel Van der Weijden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aaron Stuckens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Aaron Stuckens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benne Teurfs went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Club Kermt defense, Benne Teurfs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aaron Stuckens. The Club Kermt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aaron Stuckens should have stopped the shot. Patrik Van Caenegem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wart Ketelers having to interfere. Wart Ketelers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin De Boel in the 72nd minute of the match. FC Zonhoven's Steven Van der Voert quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Aaron Caes, made in the 75th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carel Van der Weijden in the 78th minute of play forced Club Kermt's goalkeeper Aaron Stuckens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benne Teurfs in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aaron Stuckens prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 82nd minute Frank Dumont shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wart Ketelers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Stuckens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benne Teurfs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 91st play minute Jeremy Van Beringen came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Wart Ketelers. 3-4. FC Zonhoven's Wart Ketelers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save FC Zonhoven from getting a goal against them.
