Thanks to some nice moves Quillian Stessel could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Herve De Hont however easily saved by the left post. The supporters of Triquetra AFC booed when Club Visakker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adolphe Mesmakers didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Quillian Stessel came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Triquetra AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quillian Stessel couldn't finish the play. Herve De Hont showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rein Opdebeeck, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 18th minute, Triquetra AFC's Rein Opdebeeck dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Herve Stessel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rafael De Bruijn's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rafael De Bruijn in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Herve Stessel saved Triquetra AFC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Henri Van De Look managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Visakker's supporters rose to their feet, but Henri Van De Look was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herve Stessel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Club Visakker's Herve De Hont played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rein Opdebeeck in the 30th minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Philip De Weijngaerden hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Triquetra AFC were furious when Glen Demarrez was red carded, 41 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Triquetra AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Club Visakker:s goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Quillian Stessel to make the kick off. Quillian Stessel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 55 minutes, Alphonse Van Laer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Visakker and the Triquetra AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 55th minute, Alphonse Van Laer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herve De Hont took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quillian Stessel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, one of Club Visakker:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 70 minutes into the match, Club Visakker's Rafael De Bruijn sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herve Stessel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Club Visakker's zone, Quillian Stessel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Herve De Hont came out of the goal and Quillian Stessel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eddy Justens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Club Visakker getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Philip De Weijngaerden hit a great ball. Rafael De Bruijns short, quick shot in the 77thth minute got Herve Stessel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Henri Van De Look was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 78th minute. Club Visakker's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Herve De Hont showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quillian Stessel, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. If Luckas Dierickx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Triquetra AFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
