Gilbert Philippaerts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Herve De Hont made a huge save. Henri Van De Look received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Andries Van De Wijngaert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Norbert Massenhove charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Norbert Massenhove the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Club Visakker getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Norbert Massenhove hit a great ball. KV Knutsegem were awarded a corner in the 21th minute after Club Visakker's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ief Uijtterhoeven took the corner. Ief Uijtterhoeven made a great header on KV Knutsegem's corner, it was just that Club Visakker's Herve De Hont managed to reach the ball for a save. Rafael De Bruijn got in the 34th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Andries Van De Wijngaert handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Henri Van De Look received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Andries Van De Wijngaert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael De Bruijn blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Andries Van De Wijngaert having to make a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Natan Meijers made the kick off in the second half. Henri Van De Look received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Andries Van De Wijngaert tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Henri Van De Look fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andries Van De Wijngaert having to interfere. Andreas Vermeesch hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Norbert Massenhove, 63 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natan Meijers in the 68th minute of play forced Club Visakker's goalkeeper Herve De Hont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henri Van De Look's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Andries Van De Wijngaert firmly grabbed it by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in KV Knutsegem's zone, Rafael De Bruijn stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andries Van De Wijngaert came out of the goal and Rafael De Bruijn tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, KV Knutsegem's Andries Van De Wijngaert got control of the ball when Henri Van De Look tried to sneak it across the goal line. Andries Van De Wijngaert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henri Van De Look, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Jean Tobbackers was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KV Knutsegem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Visakker the free kick. After 89 played minutes KV Knutsegem got a freekick which was hit by Jean Tobbackers. After a defensive mix-up in KV Knutsegem's zone, Henri Van De Look stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andries Van De Wijngaert came out of the goal and Henri Van De Look tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andries Van De Wijngaert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rafael De Bruijn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Norbert Massenhove took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Andries Van De Wijngaert. KV Knutsegem's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Club Visakker were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
