Kenn Roscams didn't get a good kick on the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Bekkerzeel fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! Ivo van der Eycken walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. If Camiel Cuelens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 11 minutes, Bryan Van Turnhout managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KB Les Mauves FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bryan Van Turnhout was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johan Van Geele kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 13 played minutes, Bekkerzeel's Kenn Roscams shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rajmond De Graef came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bekkerzeel reached it. The supporters of Bekkerzeel booed when KB Les Mauves FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Georges Susters didn't get a good kick on the ball. 20 minutes into the match, Bekkerzeel's Jozef Seveneijnts sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rajmond De Graef narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Rajmond De Graef showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tristan Kest in the 25th minute of the match. With a little luck, KB Les Mauves FC's Rajmond De Graef got control of the ball when Dominic Wortelaert tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bryan Van Turnhout in the 29th minute of play forced Bekkerzeel's goalkeeper Joerie Mertens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bryan Van Turnhout recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 36 minutes of play, KB Les Mauves FC's Camiel Cuelens made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joerie Mertens was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Bryan Van Turnhout came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the KB Les Mauves FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bryan Van Turnhout couldn't finish the play. Rajmond De Graef made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dominic Wortelaert in the 45th minute. Rajmond De Graef was a little too slow when Tristan Kest got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jozef Seveneijnts in the 65th minute of play forced KB Les Mauves FC's goalkeeper Rajmond De Graef to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rajmond De Graef made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jozef Seveneijnts in the 68th minute of play. After 69 minutes of play, Bekkerzeel's Jozef Seveneijnts made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rajmond De Graef was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute, Bryan Van Turnhout left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KB Les Mauves FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3. In the 86th minute of the match Matijs Jenken sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rajmond De Graef skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the KB Les Mauves FC defense, Jozef Seveneijnts kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rajmond De Graef. The KB Les Mauves FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rajmond De Graef should have stopped the shot. Camiel Cuelens struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Joerie Mertens didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KB Les Mauves FC. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Bekkerzeel players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
