Spectators: 7524 (Terracing: 5644, Seating: 1730, VIP seats: 150) Egil Helander started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute Yanniek Ackermans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantijn Henskens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. George Van Linthaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egil Helander in the 5th minute of the match. Yanniek Ackermans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantijn Henskens having to interfere. George Van Linthaut came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Sparta Kolmont's Egil Helander. But to his dismay, Egil Helander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of KFC Dohan booed when Sparta Kolmont was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Stuckens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xander Balckmans took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 19th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Constantijn Henskens. Sparta Kolmont's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Sparta Kolmont's goalkeeper Constantijn Henskens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yanniek Ackermans. George Van Linthaut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Egil Helander in the 27th minute of the match. Sparta Kolmont's Constantijn Henskens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik-Jan Render in the 36th minute of play. 1-1 became the score in the 42nd minute when Erik-Jan Render elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erik-Jan Render made a kick off. In the 58th minute, Wilfried Van Acht hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Egil Helanders short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got George Van Linthaut to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Egil Helander could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but George Van Linthaut made a huge save. When Tijs Thielens fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sparta Kolmont's protests and gave Tijs Thielens a yellow card for diving instead. Tijs Thielens hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 78thth minute of the game Erik-Jan Render who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sparta Kolmont's Constantijn Henskens was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Erik-Jan Render managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Dohan's supporters rose to their feet, but Erik-Jan Render was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Constantijn Henskens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erik-Jan Render in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constantijn Henskens saved Sparta Kolmont from getting behind. KFC Dohan were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
