Reinaud Helssen was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Erik-Jan Render capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Erik-Jan Render really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. If Yanniek Ackermans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. George Van Linthaut didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kobe Deckers went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, KFC Dohan's Xander Balckmans got a free kick in the 15th minute. George Van Linthaut came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Val's Kasper vrolix. But to his dismay, Kasper vrolix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Reinaud Helssen made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Diederick de Nijs sent off a good shot on target. Laurent De Hertoghe charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Laurent De Hertoghe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Val's Laurent De Hertoghe got a free kick in the 21st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jos Van Geele during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 23rd minute, Jos Van Geele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Erik-Jan Render was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. KFC Dohan's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Erik-Jan Render took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reinaud Helssen. Reinaud Helssen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. Laurent De Hertoghe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kasper vrolix to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Val's Ief Van Houdtvinck got a free kick in the 52nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erik-Jan Render in the 55th minute of play forced Val's goalkeeper Reinaud Helssen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reinaud Helssen came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by KFC Dohan's Erik-Jan Render. But to his dismay, Erik-Jan Render quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-2. Erik-Jan Render succeeded in the game's 64th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-2. Diederick de Nijs took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reinaud Helssen. Reinaud Helssen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-2. In the 74th minute Erik-Jan Render shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reinaud Helssen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 75 minutes had been played when some careless play by Val's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Xander Balckmans was slow to take the kick. During this time KFC Dohan's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to KFC Dohan's Diederick de Nijs getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 79th minute, Yanniek Ackermans left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KFC Dohan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 7-2. During the 85th minute of the match Jos Van Geele completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Jos Van Geele a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Jos Van Geele kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Yanniek Ackermans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reinaud Helssen was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. Erik-Jan Render charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erik-Jan Render the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 89th minute, Erik-Jan Render hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When KFC Dohan's Erik-Jan Render in the 92nd minute got a chance for a shot 92nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Val's goalie prevented a goal. In the 93rd minute, Kobe Deckers fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. 97 minutes into the game, KFC Dohan's Erik-Jan Render nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Reinaud Helssen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-2. KFC Dohan walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
