In the 5th minute Wayne Van Bets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tjorven Vuerinx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KFC Okselaar's Tjorven Vuerinx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wayne Van Bets in the 7th minute of play. After 11th play minutes Wayne Van Bets shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Tjorven Vuerinx and just under the crossbar into goal. KFC Okselaar's Tjorven Vuerinx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save KFC Okselaar from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the KFC Okselaar defense, Gery Van Bets kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tjorven Vuerinx. The KFC Okselaar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tjorven Vuerinx should have stopped the shot. Wayne Van Bets struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Tjorven Vuerinx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Blaty. Achilles Louckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Tjorven Vuerinx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Achilles Louckx scored 3-0 in the 30th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tjorven Vuerinx, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Achilles Louckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Achilles Louckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Tjorven Vuerinx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Achilles Louckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wayne Van Bets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Tjorven Vuerinx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

In the 52nd minute, Johny Pelleman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Okselaar's zone, Achilles Louckx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tjorven Vuerinx came out of the goal and Achilles Louckx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wayne Van Bets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tjorven Vuerinx having to interfere. Tjorven Vuerinx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Achilles Louckx in the 60th minute of play. Achilles Louckx struck a weak shot in the 61st minute. Tjorven Vuerinx didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Blaty. In the 62nd minute, Gery Van Bets had to leave the field with a concussion. When Olliver Hally fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KFC Okselaar's protests and gave Olliver Hally a yellow card for diving instead. After 63 played minutes KFC Okselaar got a freekick which was hit by Olliver Hally. FC Blaty's Achilles Louckx got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dominick De Mesemacre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tjorven Vuerinx having to interfere. Jorg Adams sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Johny Pelleman might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fred Van Gestel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Johny Pelleman ran back to his position shaking his head. Olliver Hally received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Fred Van Gestel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to KFC Okselaar getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Billie Verbeeck hit a great ball. Achilles Louckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Tjorven Vuerinx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 83 minutes into the match, FC Blaty's Dominick De Mesemacre sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tjorven Vuerinx narrowly saved just below the crossbar. KFC Okselaar's Tjorven Vuerinx played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achilles Louckx in the 87th minute of play. When Achilles Louckx came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the FC Blaty fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Achilles Louckx couldn't finish the play. Achilles Louckx might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tjorven Vuerinx. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Achilles Louckx ran back to his position shaking his head. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Blaty had played much better football throughout.
