Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1705, VIP seats: 2) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Olliver Hally started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes Boom got a freekick which was hit by Nic Anthonis. Tjorven Vuerinx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Naldo Pires's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the KFC Okselaar defense, Anthonio Kest kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tjorven Vuerinx. The KFC Okselaar fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tjorven Vuerinx should have stopped the shot. Tjorven Vuerinx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Naldo Pires's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. Tjorven Vuerinx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Staf Staes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tjorven Vuerinx came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Boom's Anthonio Kest. But to his dismay, Anthonio Kest quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. When Staf Staes came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Boom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Staf Staes couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Naldo Pires's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tjorven Vuerinx was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Naldo Pires stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Naldo Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Staf Staes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Boom's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Billie Verbeeck was slow to take the kick. During this time KFC Okselaar's players had a chance to rest. Etienne Van den Brul thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Kamiel De Muysere, a very annoying self made goal in the 66th minute which led to 1-3. Boom's Naldo Pires got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, KFC Okselaar's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Naldo Pires fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, KFC Okselaar's Tjorven Vuerinx got control of the ball when Anthonio Kest tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 83 minutes, Naldo Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boom's supporters crossed their fingers, but Naldo Pires was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anthonio Kest recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tjorven Vuerinx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naldo Pires, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Naldo Pires in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tjorven Vuerinx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Naldo Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The KFC Okselaar fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Boom were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
