After a defensive mix-up in FC Blaty's zone, Andrez Jans stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fred Van Gestel came out of the goal and Andrez Jans tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Andrez Jans managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RSC Colfontaine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Andrez Jans was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorg Verhulst kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. In the 30th minute, Achilles Louckx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, FC Blaty's goal looked a bit too open when Andrez Jans came free, but Fred Van Gestel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FC Blaty's Dominick De Mesemacre got a free kick in the 34th minute. After 38 minutes, Gery Van Bets mouthed his way into the referee's book. Andrez Jans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fred Van Gestel having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, FC Blaty's goalkeeper Fred Van Gestel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andrez Jans. Andrez Jans came free with the goalkeeper in the 59th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fred Van Gestel could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, RSC Colfontaine's Dre De Groote got a free kick in the 61st minute. RSC Colfontaine's Julius Seveneijns played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Achilles Louckx in the 62nd minute of play. In the 65th minute Achilles Louckx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Seveneijns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Blaty defense, Andrez Jans kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fred Van Gestel. The FC Blaty fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fred Van Gestel should have stopped the shot. 75 minutes into the game, Jorg Adams was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Blaty's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RSC Colfontaine the free kick. In the 76th minute, Andris De Worteler sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Blaty's Fred Van Gestel didn't even have to move. 78 minutes into the match, Andrez Jans notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FC Blaty's Fred Van Gestel. Fred Van Gestel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Andrez Jans struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when RSC Colfontaine's Hans Pluijssens in the 85th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Fred Van Gestel was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for FC Blaty through an amazing save. In the 88th minute, Nickolas Van hoeijveld hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Wayne Van Bets got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jorg Verhulst got his second yellow card in the match during the 96th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 96th match minute, RSC Colfontaine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorg Verhulst to maneuver through the defense. After 99 played minutes, FC Blaty's Jammy Raymaekers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julius Seveneijns came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Blaty reached it.
