Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Naldo Pires kicked off to start the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrez Jans during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Andrez Jans hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Julius Seveneijns showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Staf Staes, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. 9 minutes into the game, Boom's Naldo Pires nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Julius Seveneijns made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Pierre-Alexandre Klinkenberg came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Boom fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre-Alexandre Klinkenberg couldn't finish the play. RSC Colfontaine's Andrez Jans got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute Staf Staes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Seveneijns saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Naldo Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boom's Staf Staes suffered a sore thigh after 24 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Andris De Worteler fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RSC Colfontaine's protests and gave Andris De Worteler a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th minute, Andris De Worteler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Boom's Naldo Pires in 25 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Julius Seveneijns guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Kamiel De Muysere was a little too slow when Jorg Verhulst got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 1-1. If Naldo Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to RSC Colfontaine getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Andrez Jans hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Naldo Pires managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boom's supporters rose to their feet, but Naldo Pires was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julius Seveneijns breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Naldo Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Kobe Devaux managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boom's supporters rose to their feet, but Kobe Devaux was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julius Seveneijns breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nic Anthonis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 44 played minutes RSC Colfontaine got a freekick which was hit by Nickolas Van hoeijveld. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind RSC Colfontaine's goalkeeper Julius Seveneijns, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Dre De Groote charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dre De Groote the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in RSC Colfontaine's zone, Kobe Devaux stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Seveneijns came out of the goal and Kobe Devaux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hans Pluijssens was the one to do the kick off. Kamiel De Muysere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hans Pluijssens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Naldo Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julius Seveneijns having to interfere. Anthonio Kest sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julius Seveneijns stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Naldo Pires's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. After a defensive mix-up in RSC Colfontaine's zone, Kobe Devaux stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julius Seveneijns came out of the goal and Kobe Devaux tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julius Seveneijns didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Naldo Pires went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. In the 67th match minute, Boom was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre-Olivier Leemans to maneuver through the defense. Jorg Verhulst kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. 74 minutes into the match, Boom's goal looked a bit too open when Jorg Verhulst came free, but Kamiel De Muysere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anthonio Kest kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Hans Pluijssens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Kamiel De Muysere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Birger De Jonge in the 89th minute of the match. Sebastien Vandenbosch struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Kamiel De Muysere didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RSC Colfontaine. 93 minutes into the match, Boom's goal looked a bit too open when Andrez Jans came free, but Kamiel De Muysere reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Boom players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
