Laurenz Geerts kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Dylan De Roest fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Verhagen having to interfere. Christian Verhagen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klaus Raeymakers, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Thobias Poets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janes Terwenhout having to interfere. Christian Verhagen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dylan De Roest in the 14th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Brend Vleschers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jammy Grauwen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Verhagen having to interfere. Jammy Grauwen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21st minute, Florian Kempenaers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Janes Terwenhout acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 22nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Victor Spoelberch. Dylan De Roest's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Christian Verhagen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Brend Vleschers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29th minute, Richy Coppens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dylan De Roest in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Christian Verhagen saved FC Affligem from getting behind. If Dylan De Roest had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Richy Coppens to make the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Dylan De Roest managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Vorst's supporters rose to their feet, but Dylan De Roest was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Christian Verhagen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jammy Grauwen got free with Christian Verhagen in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. AFC Vorst's Klaus Raeymakers suffered a concussion in the 55th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. Johnny Rauvoe charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johnny Rauvoe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 56 played minutes FC Affligem got a freekick which was hit by Johnny Rauvoe. The supporters of AFC Vorst booed when FC Affligem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Johnny Rauvoe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in FC Affligem's zone, Jammy Grauwen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Verhagen came out of the goal and Jammy Grauwen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thobias Poets took the ball and in the 68 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Janes Terwenhout. Janes Terwenhout dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Vorst's zone, Johnny Rauvoe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Janes Terwenhout came out of the goal and Johnny Rauvoe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Janes Terwenhout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richy Coppens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Richy Coppens came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the FC Affligem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richy Coppens couldn't finish the play. A collision led to FC Affligem getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Johnny Rauvoe hit a great ball. Jammy Grauwen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Christian Verhagen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Jammy Grauwen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thobias Poets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Janes Terwenhout having to interfere. FC Affligem's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
