The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Octaaf Jannes kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Reinaud Jennes took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 4th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Raymond Huyterhoeven. AFC Volkswelvaart's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Oliver Leers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Huyterhoeven having to interfere. After 8 played minutes, SC Nieuwdorp's Kobe Streels shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Raymond Huyterhoeven came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in SC Nieuwdorp reached it. Jean Dheedene's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nicolaas De Mees read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 10th minute of play. Jean Dheedene struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Nicolaas De Mees didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AFC Volkswelvaart. If Jorden Van Der Eyde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 15 minutes, Roben Tilens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SC Nieuwdorp and the AFC Volkswelvaart players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AFC Volkswelvaart booed when SC Nieuwdorp was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roben Tilens didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Nestor Lefebre took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Raymond Huyterhoeven to make any attempt to save it. If Jean Dheedene had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Jean Dheedene shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolaas De Mees saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolaas De Mees made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorden Van Der Eyde in the 34th minute of play. Oliver Leers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Huyterhoeven having to interfere. Nestor Lefebre struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Raymond Huyterhoeven didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Nieuwdorp. 43 minutes into the game, Matthias Van der Veeren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AFC Volkswelvaart's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SC Nieuwdorp the free kick. After a rather tough play, AFC Volkswelvaart's Matthias Van der Veeren got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Oliver Leerss short, quick shot in the 45thth minute got Raymond Huyterhoeven to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nestor Lefebre made a kick off. In the 51st minute, SC Nieuwdorp's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jorden Van Der Eyde fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 52 played minutes SC Nieuwdorp got a freekick which was hit by Roben Tilens. An unexpected shot in the 53rd minute by Jean Dheedene got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oliver Leers in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Raymond Huyterhoeven saved AFC Volkswelvaart from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Volkswelvaart's zone, Oliver Leers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raymond Huyterhoeven came out of the goal and Oliver Leers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorden Van Der Eyde during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 65 played minutes AFC Volkswelvaart got a freekick which was hit by Jorden Van Der Eyde. Oliver Leers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raymond Huyterhoeven having to interfere. In the 73rd minute Oliver Leers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raymond Huyterhoeven saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the match, AFC Volkswelvaart's goal looked a bit too open when Nestor Lefebre came free, but Raymond Huyterhoeven reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th minute, Remco Strupar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. SC Nieuwdorp's Nicolaas De Mees played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorden Van Der Eyde in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in AFC Volkswelvaart's zone, Oliver Leers stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raymond Huyterhoeven came out of the goal and Oliver Leers tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute, Nestor Lefebre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SC Nieuwdorp fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Nestor Lefebre struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Raymond Huyterhoeven didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SC Nieuwdorp. Oliver Leers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. SC Nieuwdorp walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
