Luckas Louis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 12th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for David Esteves. Karsspor United's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. David Esteves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Octaaf Paelinck in the 13th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Karsspor United got a freekick which was hit by Christian Van Meensel. If Luuk Kindts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Remi Van den Haute's late challenge caught a Karsspor United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remi Van den Haute helped the player get up and apologised. Remi Van den Haute kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luuk Kindts in the 24th minute of play forced Karsspor United's goalkeeper David Esteves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerard Uyterhelcht, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Patrik Morreels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Sam Van De Putts made a huge save. Sam Van De Putts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patrik Morreels in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Meer were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luuk Kindts to make the kick off. Jannic Bauwens struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Sam Van De Putts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Karsspor United. In the 60th minute Luuk Kindts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute Meer were awarded a corner. Luckas Louis went to the cornerflag to take it. Meer's Luckas Louis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but David Esteves in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Patrik Morreels in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sam Van De Putts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 71st minute, Yannis Eggermont got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute Gerard Uyterhelcht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Esteves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Esteves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octaaf Paelinck, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. With a little luck, Karsspor United's David Esteves got control of the ball when Gerard Uyterhelcht tried to sneak it across the goal line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Meer walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
