The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ive De Loose showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilliam Pelgrims in the 18th minute of the match. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFC Rooigem's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gilliam Pelgrims was slow to take the kick. During this time malinwa fc's players had a chance to rest. malinwa fc's Gilliam Pelgrims was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Ive De Loose in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Willem-Alexander Breugelmans's late challenge caught a malinwa fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Willem-Alexander Breugelmans helped the player get up and apologised. The wind increased when Victor Nijs made the kick off in the second half. Victor Nijs took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Charles-Antoine Lanen. Charles-Antoine Lanen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. If Benny De Poorter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the game, AFC Rooigem's Joris Degens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charles-Antoine Lanen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Through an outstanding action, after 79 minutes, Ive De Loose successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Gilliam Pelgrims sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gilliam Pelgrims had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. malinwa fc were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
