SK Marbais's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tomm Van der Loock was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jozef Parmentier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ian Vandenberge in the 24th minute of play forced SK Marbais's goalkeeper Dimitry Huybrechts to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andreas Carels made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomm Van der Loock in the 25th minute. Dimitry Huybrechts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Vandenberge, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 32 minutes into the match, SK Marbais's goal looked a bit too open when Jorden Verdonck came free, but Dimitry Huybrechts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ian Vandenberge recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35th minute, Jorden Verdonck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 36th minute, Ian Vandenberge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 45 minutes into the match, SK Marbais's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Vandenberge came free, but Dimitry Huybrechts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tomm Van der Loock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dimitry Huybrechts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Vandenberge in the 54th minute of the match. Jorden Verdonck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for KFC Male. Nicolaas Flocquier stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Dimitry Huybrechts. 0-1. In the 76th minute Tomm Van der Loock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andreas Carels saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th match minute, KFC Male was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergio Eggers to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomm Van der Loock in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Andreas Carels prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jorden Verdonck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dimitry Huybrechts made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Vandenberge in the 83rd minute of play. Jorden Verdonck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitry Huybrechts having to interfere. In the 87th of the match, Ian Vandenberge tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Dimitry Huybrechts got in the way and made a wonderful save. In the 97th minute, SK Marbais's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ian Vandenberge fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The SK Marbais fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. KFC Male were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
