In the 5th minute, Rodolfo Obano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of FC DE KEMPEN booed when Wouteringen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward van Hacht didn't get a good kick on the ball. Çağdaş Daman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Elssen having to interfere. After some careless play in the Wouteringen defense, Rodolfo Obano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christopher Elssen. The Wouteringen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christopher Elssen should have stopped the shot. In the 27th minute, Rodolfo Obano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mathieu De Prins made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicky Imbrechs in the 30th minute of play. After 34 minutes, Jeroen De Vadder made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. FC DE KEMPEN's Mathieu De Prins tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeroen De Vadder got free with Mathieu De Prins in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jeroen De Vadder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 42nd minute, Wouteringen's Nicky Imbrechs ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mathieu De Prins. Mathieu De Prins yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicky Imbrechs was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Wouteringen's Corneel Rijmenans got a free kick in the 56th minute. A collision led to Wouteringen getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Edward van Hacht hit a great ball. Corneel Rijmenans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lenny Van De Broeck took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mathieu De Prins. FC DE KEMPEN's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Corneel Rijmenans kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Christopher Elssen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Çağdaş Daman, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Rodolfo Obano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Christopher Elssen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Obano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Emiel Van Beringen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. It was beautiful to see FC DE KEMPEN's Frederik Lanen in action when he in the 80th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! FC DE KEMPEN's Mathieu De Prins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeroen De Vadder in the 83rd minute of play. After some careless play in the FC DE KEMPEN defense, Jeroen De Vadder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mathieu De Prins. The FC DE KEMPEN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mathieu De Prins should have stopped the shot. FC DE KEMPEN made a substitution. Rudi Van Hallebeeck replaced Çağdaş Daman. In the 93rd minute of the match Alexandre Van Meerbeeck sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mathieu De Prins skillfully saved the ball. In the 96th minute Jeroen De Vadder shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathieu De Prins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Wouteringen were victorious despite being under pressure from FC DE KEMPEN for much of the match.
