Spectators: 6699 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nicky Imbrechs took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rene Vanooteghem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Christopher Elssen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lucas Van Deijck showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicky Imbrechs in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute Wouteringen were awarded a corner. Alexandre Van Meerbeeck went to the cornerflag to take it. Wouteringen's Alexandre Van Meerbeeck was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Lucas Van Deijck in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Rene Vanooteghem received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Christopher Elssen came out and tried to block the shot, but Rene Vanooteghem slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 12th minute. If Jeroen De Vadder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KSV Vliermaal's Lucas Van Deijck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicky Imbrechs in the 19th minute of play. After a rather tough play, KSV Vliermaal's William Frans got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After some careless play in the KSV Vliermaal defense, Jeroen De Vadder kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lucas Van Deijck. The KSV Vliermaal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lucas Van Deijck should have stopped the shot. In the 29th match minute, KSV Vliermaal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laurenz De Raemaekers to maneuver through the defense. KSV Vliermaal's Lucas Van Deijck played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicky Imbrechs in the 32nd minute of play. Rene Vanooteghem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Elssen having to interfere. Christopher Elssen came out of the goal and Robbin Van den Brul tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

In the 64th minute Robbin Van den Brul shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Elssen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 65th match minute, Wouteringen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephan Airpoel to maneuver through the defense. Christopher Elssen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Vanooteghem in the 65th minute of play. Robbin Van den Brul sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Corneel Rijmenans's late challenge caught a KSV Vliermaal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Corneel Rijmenans helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd minute, Corneel Rijmenans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rene Vanooteghem struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Christopher Elssen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KSV Vliermaal. If Jeroen De Vadder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Rene Vanooteghem shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christopher Elssen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robbin Van den Brul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christopher Elssen having to interfere. Rene Vanooteghem might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christopher Elssen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rene Vanooteghem ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of KSV Vliermaal booed when Wouteringen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicky Imbrechs didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. KSV Vliermaal had won after a very even match.
