Xander De Hont started the match with the kick off. With a little luck, Red Hot Chili Devils's Aaron De Keuster got control of the ball when Gabriel Van den Berch tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the match, Xander De Hont had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ron Wollans. Fons Vitae's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Xander De Hont was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Xander De Hont had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gabriel Van den Berch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Aaron De Keuster tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ron Wollans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cederic Lanen in the 16th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Fons Vitae's goal looked a bit too open when Timmy Wagemans came free, but Ron Wollans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 19 minutes into the game, Sergio Moerman recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aaron De Keuster. Sergio Moerman showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Robin Soetemans hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute, Xander De Hont got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ron Wollans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cederic Lanen in the 25th minute of play. Aaron De Keuster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergio Moerman in the 34th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Moerman in the 36th minute of play forced Red Hot Chili Devils's goalkeeper Aaron De Keuster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ron Wollans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Timmy Wagemans in the 39th minute of play. Cederic Lanen struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Ron Wollans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Red Hot Chili Devils. After some careless play in the Fons Vitae defense, Cederic Lanen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ron Wollans. The Fons Vitae fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ron Wollans should have stopped the shot. Cederic Lanen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Refael Van Hautvin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sergio Moerman to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Red Hot Chili Devils's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Van den Berch came free, but Aaron De Keuster reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aaron De Keuster showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Van den Berch in the 52nd minute of the match. Aaron De Keuster made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Van den Berch in the 54th minute of play. Xander De Hont received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Ron Wollans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 66 minutes into the game, when Erwin-Alexander De kaiser put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Red Hot Chili Devils fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 65th minute. Penalty! Jannic De nuijter kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 77 minutes into the game, Xander De Hont cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-4. Ron Wollans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Van den Berch in the 81st minute of play forced Red Hot Chili Devils's goalkeeper Aaron De Keuster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joachim Geijselinx kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Moerman in the 96th minute of play forced Red Hot Chili Devils's goalkeeper Aaron De Keuster to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Red Hot Chili Devils's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
