Paulo Henrique didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Gorosti acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 7th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Waut Demeulemeester. The Blue Beast's Martin Gorosti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Henrique in the 12th minute of play. Martin Gorosti came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Rhonas Team's Joost Hemelsoet. But to his dismay, Joost Hemelsoet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Joost Hemelsoet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Martin Gorosti made a huge save. 25 minutes into the match, The Blue Beast's Kent Goolen sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jorn Coveliers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paulo Henrique spun around in front of the goal 26 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of The Blue Beast's goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joost Hemelsoet in the 33rd minute of play forced The Blue Beast's goalkeeper Martin Gorosti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, The Blue Beast's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Joost Hemelsoet fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Paulo Henrique received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Martin Gorosti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The wind increased when Sylvain Voet made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Kobe Van Dongel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The Blue Beast's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Rhonas Team the free kick. In the 54th minute, Kobe Van Dongel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joost Hemelsoet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Martin Gorosti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Joost Hemelsoet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Rhonas Team's Joost Hemelsoet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Gorosti narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 73 played minutes The Blue Beast got a freekick which was hit by Yves Latomme. When Joost Hemelsoet came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Rhonas Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joost Hemelsoet couldn't finish the play. In the 76th minute, Joost Hemelsoet left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rhonas Team fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 82nd minute, Joost Hemelsoet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Martin Gorosti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joost Hemelsoet in the 86th minute of play. When Carlos Hauwaerts came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Rhonas Team fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlos Hauwaerts couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that Rhonas Team were the better team. Rhonas Team's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
