Maxim Van Eersel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matthew Strupar having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Harrie Ravoet in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matthew Strupar prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 42nd minute Kenney Vanhove shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jaques Breugelmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bekkevoort's Tran Montens got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Harrie Ravoet was the one to do the kick off. Tran Montens did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Jaques Breugelmans 52 minutes into the match. Matthew Strupar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Van Eersel in the 56th minute of play. Lebbeke's Jaques Breugelmans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Lebbeke from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Lebbeke defense, Tran Montens kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jaques Breugelmans. The Lebbeke fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jaques Breugelmans should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Bekkevoort's Fransesco Cockx got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Matthew Strupar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxim Van Eersel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kenney Vanhove's late challenge caught a Lebbeke's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kenney Vanhove helped the player get up and apologised. After 65 played minutes Bekkevoort got a freekick which was hit by Kenney Vanhove. Harrie Ravoet struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Matthew Strupar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lebbeke.
