In the 23rd minute Terry Valckenaerts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fre Hombroeckx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olliver Masculier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Reinaud Weggers in the 28th minute. Reinaud Weggers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anthony Beullens during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 1-0 became the score in the 37th minute when Anthony Beullens elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 41 minutes into the game, Martijn Bollaert threw the ball into play from the sideline. Grembergen's Sander Laureijs quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Fre Hombroeckx showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terry Valckenaerts in the 46th minute of the match.

The wind increased when Reinaud Weggers made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, SC Marcinelle's Kurt Reynders got a free kick in the 58th minute. Olliver Masculier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaud Weggers in the 65th minute of the match. Terry Valckenaerts scored 1-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fre Hombroeckx, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 71 played minutes Grembergen got a freekick which was hit by Matteo Heirpoel. In the 81st minute Steven Laureys shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fre Hombroeckx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 84 played minutes SC Marcinelle got a freekick which was hit by Kurt Reynders. 86 minutes into the match, SC Marcinelle's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaud Weggers came free, but Olliver Masculier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kurt Reynders hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. A collision led to SC Marcinelle getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Andreas Lefevre hit a great ball. In the 96th match minute, Grembergen was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sander Laureijs to maneuver through the defense. The SC Marcinelle players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
