Fernand Van Meensel scored 4-0 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dolf Kerselaers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gerrit Hacke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dyllan Van Goitsenhoven, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Soren Terreur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 65 minutes, Soren Terreur managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Scorpions Moalen United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Soren Terreur was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Fernand Van Meensel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dolf Kerselaers was relentless in the 67th minute of the game.
