Spectators: 7395 (Terracing: 5547, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 147) Dyllan Van Goitsenhoven started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to SK Campelaar getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Sammy Laermans hit a great ball. In the 8th match minute, SK Campelaar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoph De Keijser to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in SK Campelaar's zone, Senne Van Arschot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dolf Kerselaers came out of the goal and Senne Van Arschot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jon Sevenants's late challenge caught a RSC Malegem's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jon Sevenants helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes SK Campelaar got a freekick which was hit by Jon Sevenants. Senne Van Arschot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. RSC Malegem's Joseph Bekaert couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SK Campelaar. Dyllan Van Goitsenhoven recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When RSC Malegem's Kristiaan Vounckx in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SK Campelaar's goalie prevented a goal. Tijs Dujardin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dolf Kerselaers. SK Campelaar's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 37th minute, Kristiaan Vounckx got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Kristiaan Vounckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Dolf Kerselaers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of RSC Malegem booed when SK Campelaar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Roscams didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kristiaan Vounckx made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jon Sevenants in the 52nd minute of play forced RSC Malegem's goalkeeper Michiel Vercouteren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 55th minute of the match RSC Malegem got a corner. SK Campelaar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Joseph Bekaert ran over to the corner to take the kick. Kristiaan Vounckx scored 0-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dolf Kerselaers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Walter van haeve hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 72 minutes SK Campelaar's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joseph Bekaert who took care of the corner kick. Kristiaan Henderickx made a great header on RSC Malegem's corner, it was just that SK Campelaar's Dolf Kerselaers managed to reach the ball for a save. Dyllan Van Goitsenhoven's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Michiel Vercouteren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. After 84 played minutes RSC Malegem got a freekick which was hit by Kamiel Dirckx. In the 86th minute, Dyllan Van Goitsenhoven got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dolf Kerselaers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristiaan Vounckx in the 90th minute of the match. The SK Campelaar supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching RSC Malegem's performance. The match ended with a win for RSC Malegem.
