Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Julio Sabino started the match with the kick off. Mitch De Ketelaere didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dominick Clinckspoor went, in the 4th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When sklozen-superboys's Billie Braeckman in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Peulis's goalie prevented a goal. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Lars Verlinden took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Jean-Louis Airpoel to make any attempt to save it. 19 minutes into the game, sklozen-superboys's Julio Sabino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mitch De Ketelaere made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in sklozen-superboys's zone, Jarne Simons stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean-Louis Airpoel came out of the goal and Jarne Simons tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the Peulis defense, Julio Sabino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mitch De Ketelaere. The Peulis fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mitch De Ketelaere should have stopped the shot. After 34 played minutes sklozen-superboys got a freekick which was hit by Yannik Grootjans. Mitch De Ketelaere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Sabino in the 37th minute of play. Garry Van Den Brande hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Peulis's Michel De Becker got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 42nd minute, Billie Braeckman managed to get in a good position for a shot. sklozen-superboys's supporters rose to their feet, but Billie Braeckman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mitch De Ketelaere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mitch De Ketelaere showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Billie Braeckman in the 47th minute of the match.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lars Verlinden made a kick off. Billie Braeckman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mitch De Ketelaere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julio Sabino in the 54th minute of play. Mike Debock hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Peulis's zone, Julio Sabino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mitch De Ketelaere came out of the goal and Julio Sabino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With splendid footwork Julio Sabino arrived in front of goal to shoot 1-4 by the left pole in the game's 65th minute. 73 minutes into the match, Billie Braeckman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mitch De Ketelaere, 1-5. The supporters of Peulis booed when sklozen-superboys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 79 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richmond Rits didn't get a good kick on the ball. Billie Braeckman struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Mitch De Ketelaere didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for sklozen-superboys. 84 minutes into the match, Billie Braeckman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mitch De Ketelaere. Peulis's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Billie Braeckman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-6. The audience thought a goal was coming when Billie Braeckman got free with Mitch De Ketelaere in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over sklozen-superboys could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Peulis throughout the match.
