Luukas Ombelets showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thijs Verhaghe in the 52nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in VC Lombardsijde's zone, Thijs Verhaghe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luukas Ombelets came out of the goal and Thijs Verhaghe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Thijs Verhaghe ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luukas Ombelets was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Keiem's Daevy Van der Hoeven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Billie Gyselinckx in the 63rd minute of play. A collision led to Keiem getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Laurent Teunis hit a great ball. Billie Gyselinckx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daevy Van der Hoeven having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Keiem's goalkeeper Daevy Van der Hoeven had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tom De Greef. In the 77th minute, VC Lombardsijde's Billie Gyselinckx dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2.
