After a defensive mix-up in KV Comblain-au-Pont's zone, Basiel Wijgaert stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabien Verdonckt came out of the goal and Basiel Wijgaert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabien Verdonckt was a little too slow when Glen van Hacht got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. Jan-Pieter Vervoort received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Jan Rostow tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabien Verdonckt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Glen van Hacht in the 10th minute of the match. Fabien Verdonckt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ron Rombouts, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Ron Rombouts kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabien Verdonckt. That made the score 2-0 in the 17 minute of play. Fabien Verdonckt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ron Rombouts in the 21st minute of the match. Benjamin Nys kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, KV Comblain-au-Pont's Benjamin Nys got a free kick in the 24th minute. 27 minutes into the match, WC Kurpeks's goal looked a bit too open when Jan-Pieter Vervoort came free, but Jan Rostow reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 30 played minutes, KV Comblain-au-Pont's Nils De Maijer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jan Rostow came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KV Comblain-au-Pont reached it. A collision led to WC Kurpeks getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Glen van Hacht hit a great ball. Jan-Pieter Vervoort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Rostow having to interfere. After having played for 36 minutes, Ron Rombouts managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. WC Kurpeks's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ron Rombouts was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ron Rombouts in the 39th minute of play forced KV Comblain-au-Pont's goalkeeper Fabien Verdonckt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd minute, Glen van Hacht left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The WC Kurpeks fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 47th minute, Jan-Pieter Vervoort ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jan Rostow was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ron Rombouts made the kick off in the second half. Basiel Wijgaert received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Fabien Verdonckt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Pieter Vervoort fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jan Rostow having to interfere. Nicolas Cooreman's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Jan Rostow skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Feys got free with Jan Rostow in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan Rostow took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Pieter Vervoort, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Glen van Hacht in the 77th minute of play forced KV Comblain-au-Pont's goalkeeper Fabien Verdonckt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes, Arthur-Maurits De Mol mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KV Comblain-au-Pont and the WC Kurpeks players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arthur-Maurits De Mol kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. In the 86th minute Basiel Wijgaert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Verdonckt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Jan-Pieter Vervoort had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Cooreman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Jan Rostow made a huge save. Fabien Verdonckt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ron Rombouts in the 97th minute of the match. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. WC Kurpeks had played much better football throughout.
