The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leopold Vrijdag was the one to do the kick off. Tuur Bauweleers hit a great ball. Mickael Hellemons was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 79th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, KV Hertain's Ward Vergouwen got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Jon De Groote had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vince Tuerlinckx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. William Colebrants hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute of the match Mickael Hellemons shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gust Koppens showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Vince Tuerlinckx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Robin Van Acht in the 95th minute of play forced KV Hertain's goalkeeper Gust Koppens to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
