An unexpectedly hard shot by Mathieu-Maxim Konings in the 22nd minute of play forced KVSK Herstappe's goalkeeper Didier Van Gestel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Charl Verhaghe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jannes De Geutter, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Johny Van Geertruyen hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. After 82 minutes, Hannes Van Brussel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zevendonk and the KVSK Herstappe players grew even worse after the yellow card.
